Dr. Linehan is a native of Saginaw, Michigan. She was a 1993 graduate of Nouvel Catholic Central where she lettered in basketball, hockey, softball and track. She went on to receive her undergraduate degree in Biology at Harvard University. She played four years of varsity ice hockey there, and was captain of the Harvard hockey team. Dr. Linehan received her medical degree from Wayne State University and completed five years of orthopaedic residency at the University of Minnesota.
Dr. Linehan was a partner at Saginaw Valley Bone and Joint Center from 2007-2012. She is now employed by Covenant Healthcare. The six members comprising Covenant Center for Advanced Orthopaedics are Dr. Bryon Chamberlain, Dr. Adam Cote, Dr. Brian DeBeaubien, Dr. Garret Kerns, Dr. Colleen Linehan and Dr. Michael Tucker.
